Our team can cater for all sorts of special occasions and events. In 2021 and 2022 we catered for drink parties at a local golf club, weddings in the Cheviot Hills and inhouse at Hide Hill. 21st birthdays, engagement parties, 40th, 50th, 60th & 70th birthdays, retirement events and more. Our Story
Foxtons restaurant and wine bar was originally opened in 2000 by a local restaurateur David Foxton, who sold it 8 years later. For the last ten years it has been owned by a local business who have focused on local provenance and local people to prepare and serve our food.
We are proud of our great team of hard working local people. Many of the team have been with Foxtons for several years and all of our management has been recruited internally and supported by our general manager Mark Collin, who has more than a decade of hospitality management experience.
In this tough time for hospitality outlets in 23, you can tell the difference between chains and family owned businesses, we care more and work harder for every sale. Our aim is to entice you back for more great service, food and drinks!
“An Absolute Gem. First off, the staff are absolutely lovely-couldn’t have been kinder or more attentive. Found us a lovely table- and when they saw we were visiting with a dog brought a bowl of water and blanket over for him unprompted. The food was brilliant, I had the haggis burger (can’t remember the menu name) but it was possibly the best burger I can remember having-rich and meaty- proper comfort food done well. A great restaurant with good quality genuine service.”
